Post-Dana update. The bridge is no longer passable. The three middle arches remain, but it is no longer connected. You can really see the force of the water during the Dana in October 2024. There are no more trees or vegetation around it. Work is underway; I don't know when the bridge will be passable again. There is currently no way to cross the Reatillo River on dry land at this point. I've posted photos showing this.

The castle has a quadrangular layout with high walls and towers at the corners. Although much of the outer wall and towers have suffered significant damage over time, some structures, such as the Pedriza tower and the Ermita tower, still stand.

The waterfall is dry some months of the year.

Update after La Dana, the fountain is almost destroyed, but the water is still flowing, now at ground level (I put a photo).

A small additional, useful detail: this fountain has water all year round, even at the end of summer.
