This is the Wirtshaus beim Füchsle, not Cafe Alpengruss. An absolute must; if you don't stop here, you're missing out. Superb food, a cozy beer garden, and very friendly and attentive staff.

The Maria Hilf pilgrimage church in Klosterlechfeld was founded around 1603 by Regina von Imhof and soon developed into an important place of pilgrimage. In 1624, Franciscans took over the care of the pilgrims and established a monastery next to the church. The current building dates from the 18th century and impresses with its Baroque rotunda form, elaborate Rococo stucco work, and colorful ceiling frescoes. Opposite the church is Calvary Hill, with its Stations of the Cross and three crosses, which completes the spiritual ensemble. To this day, the church remains a place of worship and a destination for pilgrims and culture-loving visitors.
