I would not call this an easy MTB ride. Beginners would definitely struggle on this. There are multiple up and down rolling hills with quite a lot exposed roots and rocks. It is, however, an amazing place to improve balance, line choise and pedal spin skills for an intermediate rider. Please note, there is quite some uphills until you get to the starting point of this trail. That is the only downside of it. The trail is very nice! It's like a light Enduro introduction for people who want to experience what a single trail is in Alps.

Great bike path above the nasty ravine. The surface is a bit rough, not ideal for city bikes.🥰

In my opinion, Bikepark Brandnertal has the advantage that you can get there relatively quickly from Bayern older Bw. Unfortunately, the park is totally overcrowded. Waiting 20 minutes at the lift is not uncommon. (By the way, e-bikes only without battery) If you have your e-bike with you. Did you also drive up in 20-30 minutes and save yourself the card. For the fact that the season has only just begun, the berms are totally covered with braking waves and correct holes. It has nothing to do with flow anymore. And beginners should have fun on a blue line, which is not the case here. Added to this is the lack of parking. We had to park in one of the meadows. Before that, through the queues at the lift by car... catastrophe. You shouldn't necessarily park on the meadow if you drive a sports car.

Red or blue pill? This is where the red AlteSTAT trail and the blue Parpfienz trail branch off - both good, but for advanced hikers the AlteSTAT is of course more fun.
