Libochovice Castle is one of the most beautiful early Baroque aristocratic residences in our country. However, the castle is also rightly nicknamed "Pearl on Ohři". You can view the interiors of the castle within the basic circuit, where individual castle rooms evoke different historical periods. The late renaissance is presented in small and large galleries, the high baroque is represented in the castle bedroom. Here you will see a Rococo lounge, an Empire lounge, 19th century styles, etc. The ceilings of most of the castle rooms are decorated with frescoes, mostly depicting scenes from Greek and Roman mythology.

An interesting fact is that J. E. Purkyně was born in the castle. A separate exhibition is dedicated to this world-renowned scientist on the ground floor. The series The Little One Asked from the Big City or the movie The Prince and Me were filmed at the castle.
