The church, like several earlier churches in the area, is named after Olav II Haraldsson, who is the patron saint of Norrköping. The building later became the church of the merchants' guild and in the 16th century the town church. The current building was built in the Baroque style between 1765 and 1767. The Swedish Diet of 1800 was held in the church and the coronation of Gustav IV Adolf also took place there on April 3, 1800.

The ice cream here is much better than the highly praised ice cream in Söderköping (which isn't bad either). The cake and coffee were also of excellent quality. Highly recommended.

Not far from Söderköping lies this wonderful café and restaurant. It's a bit on the expensive side, but the quality is also very high. The owner gave us very detailed advice on our espresso order, and we ended up with two truly delicious, different cups. Unfortunately, we were already completely full, otherwise we certainly would have eaten something. There's a few seats inside and plenty outside. We were also able to refill our water here. There's also a station for simple bike repairs and a pump. https://jolla.se/ Mon-Sun: 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
