Velika Prepadna is a cave located on the beautiful Ajdovo Plateau. It opens on the northern slope of Srobotnik, on the border with the municipality of Žužemberk and the municipality of Straža. The entrance is marked by a wide sinkhole measuring 24 meters in depth, and then the rocky sinkhole continues with a narrow passage into the spacious Entrance Hall. In addition to the Entrance Hall, there are also Middle and Last Halls in the cave. Right in the Last is a mighty stalactite column. The cave is a habitat for underground animals, especially beetles, and a refuge for bats. It is 92 meters deep and 261 meters long. The cave is a popular excursion spot, as evidenced by the beautifully landscaped surroundings. Entry into the cave is at your own risk, but it is recommended to be accompanied by experienced cavers.

Malikovec is a small karst cave. The total length of the tunnels is 80 m and the maximum depth is 28 m. It is accessible via a steep descent. In the central part of the room there is a collapsing hall (30 x 15 meters), which opens with a crack in the ceiling. In the southern part of the hall is the entrance to a 15-meter-long horizontal tunnel that ends in a chasm. The cave is located in the hinterland of the Krupa spring. It was originally formed by local underground currents and secondarily by corrosion processes. The ignition is modest. The cave was heavily polluted. In 1994 it was cleaned and made available for visitors. We must behave in the caves in such a way that as few traces of our visit remain as possible. This is our duty to nature and the visitors behind us

If you want peace, original nature or you want to see an underground cave, a little climbing in a well-kept climbing area is the right footpath. In the canopy of a quiet original valley, where the river Temenica rises again, once stood the mighty Lukenjski grad. It is first mentioned in written sources in 1358, and the first owners were the Lukenjski lords. A little later, Erazem Predjamski is mentioned. Visit and see.
