Polylimnio Waterfalls

Highlight • Waterfall

Hike along the creek bed with small lakes and waterfalls is very nice. However, I would not classify the hike as easy, but as a via ferrata. You have to do a lot of climbing and the ropes hang pretty, give little grip. The stones / rocks are quite smooth by the many hikers, almost not walkable in wet weather.
Have already made some difficult tours in the Alps and think to be able to judge the difficulty of a hike.

Before you go, check the water level - we arrived today and it’s completely dried out. Nice walk but…without the highlight a bit boring…

Very atmospheric, lonely waterfall. The gravel road is passable up to an olive grove, behind which a forest path of around 350 meters long winds its way. Don't forget your bathing suit. The pool is sandy and very easy to access and is easy on the feet. You can jump from the rock in front of the waterfall into the deeper water.

Great gorge with spectacular waterfalls and via ferrata.

Very worth seeing waterfalls, in whose pools you can swim. The first part of the circular route is harmless, after the highest waterfall the path becomes more of a via ferrata.

A whole cascade of waterfalls with pools where you can swim. From the largest waterfall, the circular route becomes a climbing tour.
