A woven—or rather, wrapped—willow sculpture was erected as part of the 1250th anniversary celebrations of the town of Eschborn. The cornucopia was adorned with fresh strawberries, and the seed tray was filled with seeds. Attaching these to the body of the "sower" was a bit tricky at first, as was calculating the entire statics, explains Irmgard Wissing. The willow artist from Bad Bevensen is proud that her woven figure, which was originally intended to be erected last year for the 1250th anniversary, could finally be unveiled. It now stands in the Oberwiesen meadows, next to the extended Dörnweg path near Steinbacher Straße.

The Taunus is actually quite beautiful. Currently, the Altkönig looks a bit ragged.
