The old wooden diving board (see first photo) has since been replaced with a new steel one. Personally, I prefer the wooden one. The beach hasn't lost any of its luster, and changing rooms are also located nearby.

There are some very beautiful views on the southern shore of the lake. You can either relax on the small stretch of beach or climb the small hill a few meters further east. Both spots have their own charm.

A very new and beautiful rest area right on the eastern shore of the lake. In addition to seating, there's a fire pit and a very new shelter. Absolutely fantastic views of the ruins to the northwest.

It's a great starting point for several hikes. It's also a great starting point for a walk around Eksjöhovgårdssjön, and also for a short hike north along the Häradsvägen (Häradsväg Road). Several picnic benches with great views of the lake and the castle ruins, as well as a well-maintained restroom, are available. A large information board with all the sights and hiking routes completes the offering.
