From the two very large car parks at 1600m, the altitude difference to the summit at 2176m and the not too long route are manageable even for people with average fitness. We went from the Gurnigel watershed station to the Gantrischseeli and up the narrow path towards Gantrisch. This path is not signposted and is inconspicuous - you can hardly see it. We walked briefly on the wide road and after about 200 m we took the narrow zigzag path through the couloir to the ridge. Only do this if you are sure-footed. When wet it is slippery and very steep!!! From the ridge we go between the rocks, using our hands, up to the summit. A fantastic panoramic view stretching far into the French Alps.
