Bourton Combe Bridleway

Highlight (Segment) • Viewpoint

Although there are some parallel built mountain biking trails through Bourton Combe, this bridleway is a brilliant linking trail from the village of Flax Bourton heading south.

You're in the woodland the whole time, climbing if you're heading in this direction with a really tricky rock slab section to tackle on the way up.

Take care, very slippery when wet!

Old Lane Bridleway

Highlight (Segment) • MTB Park

Brilliant off-road bridleway, best descended. Start at Millionaire's Lane and descend the length of a hill at an angle, so it's not too steep and pretty long. Gets more technical as you go down with a couple of drop offs, roots and rocks near the end. Best on a MTB.

Really fun on MTB or Gravel bike

Can use the forest road to do easy laps of this descent for good skills training.

50 Acre Wood Trail

Highlight (Segment) • Trail

A completely volunteer-built section of the trail, 50 acre is much more natural-feeling than the trails in Ashton Court and Leigh Woods.

Expect roots, rocks, and slippery roots and mud if it’s rained recently.

The trail includes a couple of tough technical climbs, numerous logs to ride over, and a rocky descent that traverses the side of a hill with a couple of (optional) medium-sized drop-offs.

Great views back towards Long Ashton too

A super fun descent off Cadbury Camp that's narrow singletrack. It's rough, but not overly technical, so some good skills are still required here. It's a shared trail, so be mindful of hikers and other trail users.
