Managed by Forestry England, Eastridge Wood cloaks a steep-sided hill. There's a good network of walking, horse riding and mountain biking trails, including a section of the 200-mile Shropshire Way long distance footpath.

This is a good ride, quite a bit of climbing. The lanes are quiet, but a bit tight if you meet vehicles. Some muddy bits in Eastridge woods. Best suited to mountain bikes. If you like raw countryside and the views this is ideal. A couple of little pubs on the route but these were closed when we did the ride
