Wonderful crossing through nature on this SME route. The possibilities are getting smaller in the area, which is why it is often busy here.

Vrachelen West is the first part of the Vrachelen route. In the beginning a rather bumpy single track that after crossing the road changes into a nice dry track with a nice drop-off at a root party. This is followed by a nice stretch through a Douglas forest with a short climb and a nice descent where you can choose between an easy line or a line over a carpet of carrots. After this a longer connecting piece over the road and a wide gravel track after which you will turn and turn along the road again on a winding single track.

The first part of Vrachelen is quite bumpy and has less flow. But later on in the course that is amply compensated.
