The trail is just awesome. Long, very curvy, with many roots.

Driving direction south to north.

A cool trail to warm up. Small bumpers, rather flowing, but no "marble run" and more natural. All larger elements can be bypassed; very beginner-friendly.
In the upper part rather fast and fluid, in the middle with tree obstacles (small) and bumpers, in the lower part more technical with tight curves.

09/11/21: The trail has meanwhile been permanently changed or closed in the upper third; there is a bypass. The risk of tree breakage was probably too high. I did a little shaping day; but there are still a lot of braking waves. Unfortunately ALL tree obstacles and jumps have been removed. The path is now really a pure "roller experience". What a shame!

Root trail on the Göckersgraben

Highlight (Segment) • Trail

The trail is – as of July 2023 – very well-ridden. At the beginning, the trail requires some technical riding skills, but later on, it's primarily flowing. There's a beautiful view of the Göckersgraben ravine.

As of April 2024: Four trees are currently lying across the trail. You have to lift your bike over them.

As of April 2025: There are currently a lot of trees lying across the trail. Unfortunately, it's not fun with a heavy mountain bike/e-mountain bike at the moment.

Huber Trail

Highlight (Segment) • Trail

Attention, danger! A new wildlife fence was installed this week, which is clearly also aimed at mountain bikers. It runs right across the trail. The whole thing is difficult to see in a curve. Injuries are probably a risk that can be accepted?! Keep your eyes open.

A7 Singletrack Gramschatzer Forest

Highlight (Segment) • MTB Park

Beautiful single trail along the A7 that has a lot of variety to offer. Climbs, descents, a footbridge over a stream, a bowl and some ditch crossings. The trail is accessible at any time of the year. He just doesn't like a lot of moisture, as it becomes a mud fight in some places. Since the trail is practically on my doorstep and my entry point for biking in the Gramschatz Forest, it is quite possible that you will run into each other there.
Definitely worth recommending in both directions.
Recommended connection: Over the motorway bridge to the Brandwiese, then to the trail at the radio tower and then a cool blonde at the Waldhaus Einsiedel.
Alternatively, at the motorway bridge, take the second section of the trail on the A7 and then cross the second motorway bridge. Then take the single trail towards Maidbronn.
Please leave a comment saying how you liked the route. LG fluri

Ideal trail for beginners to practice a bit: relatively flat gradient, lots of jumps at the beginning that can be avoided, then more flowing towards the south with a few curves. Ride from north to south.

Great trail through the pine forest, with partial views of the vineyards. It definitely gives you a rollercoaster feeling. The last section is very steep and ends on a road, so you should be careful.

Höchberg sandstone quarry Due to its good workability, the sandstone of the Lower Keuper is particularly suitable for sculpting and building purposes. Widely distributed in and around the Main triangle, it was previously mined in numerous quarries there. One of the few well-preserved historical sandstone quarries is located near Höchberg.
