Urschner High Trail

Highlight • Trail

The Urschner Höhenweg:
Absolutely ingenious MTB route. I did it a little early, when the snow melted (late snow melt on June 19, 21), with a corresponding number of snow fields, streams on the way, missing bridge, etc. Still an impressive experience.
If you do the tour from Realp / Tieffenbach, you have two options towards the end, shortly after the Lutersee: either follow the hiking trail further down to Andermatt, or stay a little higher up, and soon become steep on gravel roads and asphalt down Rrtg Schöllenenschlucht, where you meet the main road and should leave it quickly in favor of the Veloweg.
(PS: I wanted to upload more photos from the eastern part of the high trail, but it didn't work!)

Lago Ritom to Airolo Mountain Bike Trail

Highlight (Segment) • Trail

Start in Madrano near Airolo. Easy Albsträsschen to Lago Ritom. (Further tours in the direction of Lugmanierpass possible only in absence of snow.At the end of April 2017 there was still a lot of snow from about 1600m, so I had to push the first part of the singles and wear, until about Pian Töi Snow was not too soft and the gradient was just right - a true MTB surf When the direction changed from northwest to southwest, (Alpe) a terrific single started down the valley after a few meters was snow-free.

MTB route Göscheneralp dam to Gwüest

Highlight (Segment) • MTB Park

From the dam first a beautiful meadow path, then a little steeper, leading through a flower paradise. In front of Hinterbründli a short, blocked place, then over the Alp Jäntelboden past two Seeli and the campsite (S0, S1, a blocked place S2).
At Vorderbründli you can cross the autostrasse, at Gwüest. If you stay on the trail, it gets rough from here down to Wiggen!

Beautiful scenic route, technically easy, from Alp Pesciüm to Bexdrettotal, always at an altitude of between around 1600 and 1800 m.

Beautiful and easy trail, almost alone.

The cable car runs from Airolo to the Pesciüm intermediate station, then on to the Sasso del Boggia. From there there are now many MTB trails down, some naturally pre-existing, some artificially created. You can also wash your bike at the valley station and there is a bike rental.
