The Fünf-Wunden-Kapelle (official name) was built at the end of the 17th century over a spring in the slope. Inside the chapel, the water of the spring flows from the five wounds of Christ in the relief-like figure of Christ into a shell-shaped basin made of gray marble. The fountain, which is located on the inwardly curved wall behind which the fountain chamber is located, gave the name of general usage "Das Brünnele". On the rear wall are wooden figures on a pedestal, namely Maria Immakulata as well as Petrus and Paulus (often simply called Peter and Paul) from 1860 from the high altar of the parish church of neighboring Altdorf. From the outside, the chapel looks very inconspicuous, could also be a barn, and can only be reached via a meadow path. To get to the chapel, walk from the church on the Ottilienberg in a southerly direction (signposted) until you see a rock with a wayside cross on the left.
