Start of Die Anna Trail

Highlight • MTB Park

“Hei Die” is our first and oldest route in the Weisshauswald. Built in 2005, the trail winds its way down to the valley over a distance of almost one kilometer. From there you can quickly get back to the car park at the Haus des Waldes, where the designated uphill begins.
In several places the route offers two parallel lines with different features. Several turning options on “Die Anna” and our little garden allow for a variety of combination options.

Säulenweg S2+ Trail

Highlight (Segment) • MTB Park

Very demanding downhill part, with deep pumps, steep curve with roots, drops and kickers. Definitely not suitable for beginners. I think more of an S2

Kandelbach Singletrack

Highlight (Segment) • MTB Park

A nice walk but also a great singletrack, which is good to master with a CX / Gravel / gravel bike. Driving from north to south, it is about halfway uphill and towards Kernscheider height, two quite steep and rooted hairpin bends along.

MTB Trail Igeler Wald

Highlight (Segment) • MTB Park

On the way down you should be prepared for one or two smaller leaps. All but one can be bypassed. In the lower part it gets a bit bumpy at higher speeds because of some roots. Warning: dogs often go for a walk!

Wurzelweg Mountain Bike Trail

Highlight (Segment) • MTB Park

Beautiful single trail through the middle of the forest over some roots (the name speaks for itself) but otherwise without major obstacles. Generally good in both directions. However, you can let it run down nicely.

The trail was built in 2016. It starts off flowier and less steep than "Hei Die", but be careful - don't underestimate it. It's a bit of a stretch down to the valley. The last section in particular is tough. The trail negotiates the last few meters to the finish in steep curves. This is by far the least used segment of our routes. Many riders switch to alternative options, such as the little garden a few meters away. More information is available here: https://mtb-trier.de/die-anna/.

Nice trail into the valley. Quite flat and narrow at the beginning, wider and steeper in the further course.
