Nice views of the dam holding back the water and the big canyon downstream. Accessible from a parking lot right off the main drag in town.

Episcopal Church

Highlight • Religious Site

Historic church that I think has been in a few cities. It's interesting how they would move buildings back in the day. I mean they still do, but doing that 100 years ago would be crazy.

A site run by the Minnesota Historical Society that is where the military had a camp setup and the Native Americans had a camp across the creek and attacked over several days. Interesting walk with lots of signs to read and a very peaceful place at this point in time.

Monuments to the settlers involved in the Birch Coulee battle and the Native Americans who helped the settlers. Not always considered PC these days, but they were built up here over 130 years ago. They are impressive structures. I'm guessing a lot of trees have grown up since then, I don't think you can really see them from town now, but I bet you could when they were built.

The best tip I can give you is the link to the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources web page on Cedar Rock SNA. Here it is: https://www.dnr.state.mn.us/snas/detail.html?id=sna02062.
