Keipen, at 916 metres high, is a subsidiary summit of Storfjellet, which rises above it to 950 metres. It has a similar rocky summit with grand views out over Samfjorden on one side and Vatnefjorden on the other. The summit is quite unique, having large stone slabs standing on edge like jagged teeth.

A mega hiking highlight with an impressive ridge walk! You can look in all directions as far as you want and the view of the higher snow-covered mountains was so great! On the ascent from the direction of Soholmen, I had to cross a large steep snowfield (mid-April), luckily the descent was snow-free.

Frostadtinden with its 807 meters above sea level is a great hike for the whole family. Great and easy terrain with a nice view at the top. From the parking lot, turn left and follow Storlivegen a little inland. Right after you have passed the cow pasture on the left side of the road, turn left and follow the path along the fence and further up towards Frostadtinden. The path is clear all the way, and marked with cairns. Steady and nice climb all the way. Wet at the start. The hike is especially great in the morning sun and in the fall. In the winter this is a nice summit hike below 30 degrees. The terrain is well suited for children and for four-legged friends.
