Small museum worth seeing in a former merchant's house from the beginning of the 19th century. It paints a characteristic picture of people's life in this unique corner of Wallachia. The museum is also a gallery of local artists.

The museum requires a relatively small entry fee but is well worth it. They have about 200 painted chests from Slovakia and Czech Republic between 18-20th century. The guide new a lot about the customs and the chests themselves. In was impressive to see all different kinds.
