The café in the historic Købmandsgård is always worth a visit. It is located directly on the Billeballestien. The interior is absolutely worth seeing: a mix of museum and flea market. The cake selection is huge and they taste very good.

Bindeballe Købmandsgård was founded in 1897, at the same time as the Vejle-Vandel Railway was opened. The merchant's farm is in full operation in the original buildings as an old-fashioned general store with personal service. There is an opportunity to enjoy food and drinks in the cozy backyard. Bicycle service can be found at Bindeballe Station.

A quaint shop where there is a lot of history to discover. Part of it is just for admiring, and part of it can also be purchased, just like in earlier times. In the inner courtyard, there is a café with a huge selection of cakes. History: The general store was opened in 1897 by Jeppe Kristensen right next to the new train station. He was convinced that where a train stops, a community also arises. In 1957, the train line was closed, but the general store continued to exist. When Maja and Reinholdt Jensen took over the Købmandsgården in 1973, they began renovating the property. At the same time, they also looked for old shop furnishings so that the store would look again as it did at its opening. Today, the "independent institution Bindeballe Købmandsgård" runs the store. Its statutes ensure that the collection is preserved for posterity.
