Lake Schleefeld is truly beautiful, and there's plenty to see. Please remember that it's a body of water managed by the Peheim-Markhausen Fishing Club, who maintain the lake and the surrounding area to keep it looking its best. Please behave respectfully, don't litter, don't disturb anglers, and please don't let your dogs run around too much in the water, as this lake is a refuge for frogs, toads, fish, dragonflies, and other creatures. You can only observe them if you don't disturb or damage their habitat.
