Luxembourg City Owl Hike

The castle was built in the 13th century and redesigned several times. Today, it sits picturesquely on the edge of the forest and feels almost like an enchanted place from another era. Although the castle is currently closed to the public, the view alone is worth the trip: surrounded by trees, with its striking tower, it invites you to linger for a while.

The main house of the castle is still completely intact. In July there is always an animated village festival lasting several days. You shouldn't miss this one. :)

Beautiful castle tower of the castle, unfortunately inaccessible and still in poor condition despite the state's announcement of renovation. After the renovation (which should end in 2019 but never started), a museum about the forest and offices of the forest administration are to move in here.
