The summit of Ben Stack is a wonderful viewpoint, Quinaq and Assynt to the south; Arkle and Foinaven across Loch Stack to the north; the coast to the west. This is a fine little mountain in an isolated lonely part of the far north west of Scotland.

The middle parts of thus walk are very difficult to navigate and even get into problems. Large parts of the so called path are non-existent. I would advise extreme caution, if assuming this is an easy route.

Warning, the trail is not easy, rather moderately difficult. Good footwear is required.

Awesome views south-west towards Old Man of Stoer.

This path which cuts the corner of the A894 and misses out Scourie is a nice loop and a good place to find a wild camp. The loch is wild and if you climb the hill to the west the views out to sea are amazing.
