Beautiful scenery, quiet backroads leading to and from small south Lanarkshire towns and villages. Also some off road tracks.

A great place in middle of nowhere when a coffee break and cheese toast is essential in middle of long ride. Cheese Toastie's is the highlight of this place.

Quiet road with just the cows for company. Decent test for the legs without being unenjoyable.

Short, sharp climb followed by dead-straight, smooth tarmac descent. Probably the fastest I've ever been on the bike!

Nice quite traffic free back road going into or out of Strathaven.

In Season (July) there are lots of raspberries on the side of the road at the summit. A worthy reward for the climb :)
