Tips from the Community

Sue
July 28, 2026, Myall Beach

Myall Beach is a beautiful stretch of white sand backed by tropical rainforest at Cape Tribulation. Reached via the Dubuji Boardwalk, it’s a wonderful place for a stroll along the coast, and during winter, you may even spot humpback whales passing offshore. As with other beaches up this way, always check for croc and marine stinger warnings before entering the water.

Dubuji Boardwalk is a relatively short, easy circuit that winds through lowland rainforest, mangrove swamps, and across a spring-fed creek before reaching Myall Beach. There are interpretive signs that explain the area's unique plants and wildlife, and if you're lucky, you may even spot a southern cassowary along the way.
