Info about the bell tower: "There was a bell near the cottage (note: Jamne 15, the small cottage is currently bookable via AirBNB and very nicely furnished) that the blacksmith rang at noon and in the evening, and also when someone from the village or nearby died. According to local custom, this tradition was always passed on to the next owner of the building, and so it came about that Grandma Marie started ringing the bell, just like the blacksmith did back then. The bell tower is still in the village today, but has moved from the cottage closer to the village.

The lentil soup is very tasty. An exciting dish is pickled ermine. The translator app stopped working. So I ordered cheese with onions in English, which I saw other guests doing. Ermine, that's the name of the cheese! It was very tasty. This is also a popular landing spot for kayakers. Toilets available. Dog-friendly.
