Open to public. One can do this trail/s 24Hrs 7 Days a week. Just check before the tour if there is track maintenance going on, even though it happens very rare. Definitely some deep profile on wide MTB tires recomended with some good brake system & low gear group.

The cat seems to be a regular guest at this wind shelter. She is a friendly fella if you treat her well. If you have sensitive gear like a down sleeping bag, keep in mind, that she will spend the night with you. We tried to put a towel between our sleeping bag and the cat that insisted on sleeping on our feet. However, that helped poorly against her claws ;)

The ruin of the Häckeberga mill is a perfect place for a picnic and exploring the area. You can sit on benches along a burbling stream. The mill itself is great for a picture. The inhabitants of Genarp call the ruin Vannmöllan. The mill is first mentioned in writing in 1624. It was probably located on this site long before that, as it was already considered old in the 1700s. The mill also served as a farm with a residential house, stables and barn and consisted of three floors of bricks on a greystone foundation. It had three mills and two crushers.
