The slabs are laid nicely and smoothly and are easy to drive on, before Grosser Luckow there is asphalt.

In 2023 and 2024 I interrupted my long bike rides here several times for a few swims. Very clear, beautiful water. You can no longer stand at the end of the jetty. Clean water and the bottom is firm and sandy, small climbing plants and no water lilies. One of the most beautiful lakes in the area, I think.

The highlight is the church and not the parsonage opposite, which is unfortunately often photographed incorrectly here. The village church can be seen from far away thanks to the large church tower. The church is a classic fieldstone church and the church fence and cemetery are also made of fieldstone.

Very nice route, decent climb on DDR slabs. At the end of the village of Grossen Luckow you pass a rare round barn.
