Cottbus has done a lot for its bike path infrastructure and, in my opinion, has left many "bicycle cities" behind, partly because the surrounding area is also developed. I particularly like the natural, unpaved bike paths.

From today's perspective, it's hard to comprehend why the castle building was demolished in the early 1980s, resulting in the loss of a historical treasure. At least the teahouse, which belonged to the former castle, was renovated. Regular events, such as the traditional "Teahouse Christmas," are now held there.
