I call it the off-grid route of what are already natural hiking trails. With a reasonable level of fitness and sturdy footwear, this route is also a lot of fun. Those who aren't so steady on their feet should probably avoid this route.

Wow, what a fantastic route! Sprokkelspoor roughly translates to "ant trail." (Sprokkel = ant, Spoor = trail or path) This route lives up to its name. It leads along narrow paths through forest and moorland. Sturdy footwear and trousers are essential, and a good level of fitness and hiking poles are highly recommended.

From here on, regularly over tree trunks. Something to take into account. We and the dog really enjoyed this part.

Nice boardwalk unfortunately a tree had fallen on it and a piece was broken. Luckily I could still get past it. There were also 2 trees on the path that you could step over.
