My husband and I visited the AquaZoo in Leeuwarden in Friesland in the Netherlands during our camping holiday at the RCN de Potten in Sneek. Unfortunately, our little dog Bronco was not allowed to come with us because dogs are not allowed in this zoo. But Bronco made himself comfortable in our caravan. My husband and I had a lot of fun and enjoyed our visit to the AquaZoo Leeuwarden. If you are ever in the Leeuwarden area and like zoos, you should go there - it is really worth it!

I don't know if it is worth it, I think it's a shame that it is not clearly indicated that it is in Leeuwarden and not at the Hemrik

Walk through the watery nature reserve at the Nije Wielen. The recreation area is also very suitable for a trail run. Recently, significant investments have been made in making the area more nature-friendly, and with success: it is rich in biodiversity!
