Het Beleven is a nature reserve west of Reusel. The area covers 174 hectares. The area formed the upper reaches of the Belevensche Loop, which was recently rerouted, and consisted of a series of interconnected fens used as fish farms. These were called weijers (meadows). Historically, this area experienced significant seepage, with gradients ranging from nutrient-poor to moderately nutrient-rich. Het Beleven nature reserve is one of the locations along the "De Witte Vos" (The White Fox) cycling route.
