I find it nicer to ride than the ascent running next to it directly from Malsch. Much less traffic, good surface. Mostly very steep, but relatively consistent. If you find your rhythm, it's quite doable. Nevertheless, it's a nice feeling when you've completed the first 1.5 km and passed the steepness warning sign.

The road from the Förcher Kreisel to Ebersteinburg is still closed. You can get through the village or the construction site by bike. You should take advantage of it and ride up while it's still closed and there are no cars.

There is a small sign under the flower box: “no drinking water.”

When riding downhill, you'll be warned several times about dangerous sections with a gradient of 15%. However, since the route is very well maintained and has impeccable asphalt, nothing can really happen if your bike's brakes are in good condition.
