From this refuge and its surroundings you can admire beautiful views. It can be used as a starting point for many excursions (I recommend including a visit to Lago delle Prese which is only 20 minutes from the refuge). The road to get to the refuge, with a perfect asphalt surface, is a little narrow, but almost always enough for two cars to pass, slow down and be careful. It's worth walking because the nature in these parts is wonderful.

The Feldkappelle is located at the center of a route that winds along the mountain range that surrounds the ethnic German Val dei Mocheni. Recovered and rebuilt from the "remnants" of the Great War, it constitutes an open-air museum that allows you to walk... remember and reflect, observe and stop... in an environment that will surely enrich you.

This beautiful alpine lake can be reached via several hiking trails. My advice is to enjoy a prolonged break here and, why not, maybe take a dip if the temperatures allow it.
