Port-Penhouet beach is one of the most beautiful coves on the north coast of the island. Less known than its neighbor, the Plage des Poulains, it is nonetheless magnificent.

The western tip of Belle-Île faces the ocean and the Americas! In reality, this point is a peninsula which connects Belle-Île by means of a fine sandbank which offers one of the most beautiful beaches on the north coast! It was immortalized by the photographer Philip Plisson, which gave the cliché "Avis de gale sur les Poulains". It is undeniably a site to discover just a few steps from Sauzon and its magnificent little port.
