At 90-acres, Clopper Lake is the centerpiece of Seneca Creek State Park. This viewpoint from the dam is one of the best in the park, but you get sporadic views from basically every point around the lake.

The Kentlands Lakes Park area is definitely an ideal place to ride by, as it's a nature oasis in the midst of the city. Along this section of the path between the lakes, you can enjoy views of the water on both sides. If you like, you can even take a break and sit on one of the benches in front of the water.

Clopper Lake is at the heart of Seneca Creek State Park. This is one of the best views of the lake as you can see all the way down its length, a mile long. Don't drop anything though, here at the dam it is 45 ft deep!
