The disc golf round is okay, but if you expect a proper DG course, you'll be disappointed. The baskets are partly very dented - I suspect due to local forestry. But it's still fun. If you've never played before, you should be careful, otherwise the discs (important, not frisbees) might end up deep in the undergrowth. I lost a disc there at hole 5 or 6 a few years ago (a yellow "Fuse" 😭). The nine holes are spread over the first 1.8 to 2km of the route. Drivers or midrange discs are not absolutely necessary, putters are enough. If you don't have your own discs, you can borrow some at the restaurant in Böen. I can't say if there's a charge for them.

The Dwergter Hunderunde (Dwergt Dog Run) is a varied, approximately two-kilometer-long loop through a beautiful forest. There are ten stations where you can do exercises with your dogs, such as seesaws, slaloms, balancing, climbing, and more. The dog course begins directly at the "Große Tredde" parking lot, diagonally across from the forest playground.

Unfortunately, the tree (it was a Douglas fir) didn't quite survive a storm and broke off further up. Making this wooden sculpture out of the rest was an absolutely brilliant idea!

Perhaps also important to know: Only biodegradable urns may be interred in the FriedWald. The ash capsule (also made of biodegradable material) from the crematorium is placed into such an urn. The FriedWald urn, which is predominantly used, decomposes within 1-5 years, depending on the soil conditions, and after just a few months, depending on the soil conditions, it will be so softened that, for example, reburial would no longer be possible. This means that after this period, the tree roots benefit from the minerals in the ashes. Thus, a part of the loved one is transferred into the tree.
