We set off into the early morning light, and our goal was the Zugspitze. Coming from the Ehrwald Bahn parking lot, the climb is quite strenuous, but the view of the magnificent mountain panorama is a distraction from the exertion 🤗

Fairly easy to reach by e-bike and also a popular destination for hikers, so, as Thomas already mentioned, it's usually crowded. However, most people don't go any further than the lakeshore, and it quickly becomes quieter towards the top if you avoid the motorway to the Coburger Hütte.

The Gartner Alm is very idyllically located and you have a great view of the Gartner Wand! We were given a very warm welcome and had a great time. The Kaiserschmarrn was one of the best for us, really delicious!🙂 - highly recommended for everyone!😌
