The picture shows the old track; the new RS3 is fantastic, but what I don't understand is why they didn't build a pedestrian walkway alongside it when they were already rebuilding the track. 🤔

Now you can also spend the night in the historic train station! A wonderful experience and a super friendly host (Andreas and his dog Ronda). The Smiley Suite can accommodate two people (with a fantastic breakfast) and has its own toilet and bathroom. The train station is also an exhibition and invites you to explore. The S-Bahn takes you directly from the door to Heidelberg's old town in just over 30 minutes. Highly recommended! You can book it through Airbnb...
