The bridge over the lake is also beautiful. From there you have a magnificent view of the cliffs and the countless waterfowl and swans 🦢. Once an hour, the train rattles over the parallel railway bridge.

On Saturday at 11:30 am we made a pit stop on our bike tour and enjoyed currywurst fries plus coffee - both were very good. The old construction trailer with the terrace in front has charm. Directly on the Sauerlandring cycle path. Next to it is the Lennepark with a children's playground etc. Friendly service, quick service, plenty of parking spaces for bicycles.

One of the last "true" mountain streams in North Rhine-Westphalia. I grew up there and know the river well. A pleasant little stream in the sunshine, it can quickly transform into a truly dangerous, raging river when the weather changes. Don't underestimate it.
