The water wheel ('mill wheel') weighs 2.2 tons and is 4.50 meters high. In 2023 it was completely renovated – derusted, repainted and fitted with 80 new oak planks as paddle floors – and reinstalled in August 2023. It is a replica, which points to a water wheel that was actually in operation here in the past; for safety reasons, it no longer runs in the water.
