The detour is history, but the abrupt end at the S177 is not. The route of the cycle path on the busy road through Wünschendorf is simply chaotic. Since an expansion of the railway embankment in the Wünschendorf area seems unlikely, one can only hope that the future bypass of the S177 will bring traffic calming as soon as possible.
