The village of Fahrnau has been a district of the town of Schopfheim since 1971. The corner house with the turret at the beginning of Mühlengasse and an old farm on Kirchstraße caught my eye. For a stop (and overnight stay), I highly recommend "Andi's Steakhüsli." You can find a lot of information about the town here: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fahrnau

Almost a bit out of date in shape, this remarkable street lamp caught my attention now. You almost expect someone to come and turn the gas light on or off.

A little off the main route of the cycle path network, but a short tour through the cobblestone streets is worth it. Just beautiful.
