Sorbian Church in Senftenberg. With sgraffito on the chancel. Information: Today used as a community center for church services, concerts, lectures, and celebrations. A wooden church was built in 1540. A new building was already being demanded in 1555. A major fire on August 15, 1641, destroyed the church. It was rebuilt between 1652 and 1655. Another town fire in 1670 destroyed this building as well. The rebuilt church was erected on its present site and consecrated on June 6, 1682.
