The former Kesselstatt burial chapel is a listed building located on Ehrenmalstraße in Kröv. The building was erected in 1662 on a rectangular plan. The simple chapel has a light-colored plastered facade and a hipped roof covered with slate. The Renaissance portal, made of reddish stone with a broken pediment, displays the family coat of arms in the gable. A round trefoil window opens above the portal. The side arched windows are also framed with reddish stone. The chapel served as the crypt and burial site for the Counts of Kesselstatt.

A beautiful climb that will also challenge your physical fitness. The surface is mostly good—only the final section has a few cracks in the asphalt, but these hardly spoil the ride. For much of the route, you'll enjoy wonderful views, making the climb even more rewarding. The ride is mostly on a farm track with virtually no traffic.
