As part of the 1999 Styrian State Exhibition on the theme of transport, a special destination for nature and hiking enthusiasts was created on the Tremmelberg: the striking observation tower Tower Power with its impressive double-tower architecture, inspired by the Seckau Abbey. From here, you have wonderful views of the surrounding landscape. At the foot of the tower, there is a refreshment station. Here you will find opening hours and further information: https://www.steiermark.com/de/Murtal/Aktivitaeten/Ausflugsziele/Jausenstation-am-Turm-im-Gebirge_isd_326814

A beautiful destination. Imposing tower structure with a managed tavern. Brisk ascent via 'Wolfsgrube'. The descent via 'Vorder-Tremmel' on the forest road makes it a circular route. Starting point: Sachendorf parking lot. The tower tavern is open continuously from May 1st - October 31st (10 am - 7 pm).

The sign on the bridge finally shows the name of the river we are driving along. Beautiful steel construction!

This "floating Mur bridge" is located not far from Kobenz and St. Margarethen and leads across the Mur. There are benches on the bridge where you can rest while watching the water rush by. Depending on the water level, the bridge also adjusts its height. This bridge is a popular destination for a short walk and also for bike tours and is easily accessible. It is always worth a visit!
