Actually a continuation of the trail along the Ill from St. Gallenkirch, but due to a mudslide it is only accessible after the cable car. Initially close to the river, the path later turns into a wetland and then into meadows. Very beautiful and worthwhile route along the water.

A comfortable sun lounger invites you to linger. While you do this, you can listen to the rushing of the Ill. Our dogs were particularly happy about the small fountain that provides cooling on warm days.

The smoking water is a constant presence here. It's a very beautiful path; we even had the opportunity to walk the dogs right to the water and cool off for a bit.
