The patronage of this house of God has not been entrusted to one of the (almost infinitely) many saints, but rather one has placed oneself under the protection of the "Holy Trinity". From Pope Benedict XVI (Joseph Ratzinger) come the following words about that mystery of faith, by which we Christians worship the ONE God in THREE persons: "On the Sunday after Pentecost, we celebrate the feast of the Most Holy Trinity. Through the Holy Spirit, who helps to understand Jesus' words and leads into all truth, the faithful can, so to speak, gain knowledge of God's innermost being and thereby discover that He is by no means infinite solitude, but a communion of light and love, a gifted and received life in an eternal dialogue between the Father and the Son in the Holy Spirit – Lover, Beloved and Love, to put it in the words of St. Augustine." (Address by Pope Benedict XVI, on the Angelus on 11.06.2006)

The Schnopfhagen monument on the Hansberg commemorates Hans Schnopfhagen (1845-1908). Schnopfhagen was a composer, local poet and pedagogue. Until his death, Hans Schnopfhagen was a teacher and headmaster in the neighboring community of St. Veit. He also wrote the “Hoamtgsang,” which has been the Upper Austrian national anthem since 1953.
