Great hut for a rest or as a stopover for the night on the Lasörling Höhenweg. The new owner is very welcoming, the atmosphere in the hut was good, and the food was very appealing. Quiet quickly returned at night. There are even showers (hot water for an extra charge of 2 euros/5 minutes). It is possible to stay overnight with a dog in a room or bungalow, it is essential to reserve in advance.

Great mountain with a great view and can be reached from the Lasörling Hut with relatively little ascent (760m according to the Komoot calculator). The easiest route also starts from there - but it requires a good level of surefootedness and a head for heights, particularly in the last third. I'm only writing this because the Lasörling is sometimes described as an "easy 3000m peak". That may be true, but it is one nonetheless and the route is accordingly challenging in parts with minor scrambling, even if you don't have any climbing equipment. We would only go there in dry weather, but we are not experienced mountaineers.

wonderful, privately owned hut at the head of the Mullitz valley. Recently with a terrace. Local mountain is the Lasörling 3098m, which you can climb in 2 - 3 hours.
